How to check compatibility

• Compare the panel code on the label at the back of your old screen (B156XTN02.2) or one of the equivalent codes.
• Make sure the cable connector in your laptop is 40 PIN (LVDS) - a different pin count will not fit.
• Mounting brackets: no brackets - check that your old screen is mounted the same way.
• The surface type (glossy) changes only the look, not the fit.
• This is a non-touch screen - a touchscreen laptop needs a different model.
• Not sure? Send us your laptop model and a photo of the label and we will check compatibility before you order.

FAQ

Which laptops does the B156XTN02.2 screen fit?
Among others: Acer Extensa 5635Z, HP ProBook 4510s, HP Pavilion dv6-2100, Packard Bell EasyNote TM86, HP Compaq Presario CQ56 and more. The final fit is determined by the panel code, pin count and mounting brackets.

What does LVDS 40 PIN mean?
LVDS is the interface between the motherboard and the screen, and 40 PIN is the number of pins in the cable connector. Both must match your laptop.

What is the difference between a matte and a glossy screen?
A matte screen reduces reflections and is comfortable in bright light; a glossy screen gives more vivid colors but reflects more. Only the look differs - size and connector are the same.
